The NYRA Selection Committee will post the invitees for the Jockey Club Derby Invitational on Saturday, September 21st. $3,750 to pass the entry box and an additional $3,750 to start. The purse for the Jockey Club Derby Invitational shall be divided as follows: $275,000 to the owner of the winner, $100,000 to second, $60,000 to third, $30,000 to fourth, $20,000 to fifth and $15,000 divided equallyamongst the remaining finishers. Weights: Colts and Geldings, 122 lbs. Fillies, 119 lbs. Trophies will be presented to the winning owner, trainer and jockey. (If the Stewards consider it inadvisable to run this race on the turf course, this race will be run at One Mile and One Quarter on the Main Track.).
